Additional Information
We do not replace any line management supervision and we do not carry the responsibilities related to staff performance and workload.
This is clinical supervision, not therapy or counselling for staff.
Working with vulnerable people, listening to distressing information and having empathic relationships will have an impact on your staff's mental health. We call this the cost of caring. Your staff can not effectively support the vulnerable people they work with if they do not have the time to process and reflect upon their work.
Clinical supervision is a very important component for staff's mental health and professional development. By having access to frequent clinical supervision, your staff will be able to reflect upon their work and have the opportunity to process information that may be impacting on their emotional and mental health.
Our clinically trained professionals (Clinical Psychologists, Forensic Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, CBT therapists) are experienced in providing quality clinical supervision. We match the needs of your staff with our clinicians to ensure we provide a safe and reflective space.
Safe Lives Leading Lights standards highlight that should staff have access to supervision
Department for Education also recommend access to supervision via the Education Staff Wellbeing Charter.
We provide online clinical supervision, and we will work with you to identify how frequent the sessions should be. Each session will last 50 minutes. Sessions can be delivered on a 1:1 basis or as a group (up to 3 people). All sessions can be booked online and rescheduled at a click of a button. Our supervisors will maintain their own caseloads to ensure we can protect the supervisory relationship.
We are also able to provide access to supervision in the evenings and weekends.
All safeguarding matters will be safely managed and we will provide organisations with data on attendance and emerging themes.
