We work from a model that allows us to integrate into the environment (i.e. school, organisation) so we can work systemically and develop a therapeutic rapport.
We are keen to ensure that our services can provide long term benefits. That is why we work closely with professionals so our skills and knowledge can be shared. A dedicated and experienced Mind Space facilitator (Psychologist) will work in creative ways to offer one to one, and group support. They will also be able to offer consultation support.
We use a variety of evidence based psychological interventions, for example Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Attachment focused interventions, Psychodynamic, Dialectic Behaviour Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and many more. The interventions we use are recognised and recommended by Department for Education, Public Health England and National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
The Mind Space™
We create an actual Mind Space area. This is a safe, creative and inclusive space which enables individuals to explore their inner world safely. We equip the environment with a variety of innovative resources which are also sensory inclusive. The overarching aim is to provide a safe and secure base which is sensitive to emotional distress and so can facilitate emotional wellbeing and resiliency.
